Money spent on a Pointless Marriage

 Apparently the Kardashian clan was too much for Kris Humphries to handle. After 72 days, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have announced their divorce. Some say the whole engagement and marriage was a scam. However, whether it was a set up or not the press still would have gotten hold of the story and made a huge deal about it. There's always money to be made with these types of things, why not give it to the people that are making the story successful?
 It's not how much money was made through the process of the wedding and the reality show following the love affair of Kim and Kris. The bigger deal is how much money was spent. A total of 13 million dollars was spent on the wedding. This number is hard to believe, and causes ordinary people like me to think of other uses for that money. This money that was spent on a wedding that is now completely meaningless could have been used towards college tuitions, shelters, schools, cancer research, and so much more.
